Ruma Bottega & Cucina Agricola uniquely combines contemporary culinary innovation and traditional Italian cuisine by combining a farm store concept with a restaurant. Opened in August  2022, by sister and brother duo Matidia and Guido Pallini, Ruma was born from their desire to bring the history and traditions of their land, the Maremma area of Tuscany, to the vibrant center of Rome. Each dish and product they sell conveys their family’s values and passion for quality and connection to the environment. Their menu varies with the seasons and the dishes on their menu are crafted with materials primarily sourced from the family’s farm in Maremma Tuscany, truly embodying their motto ‘from farm to table’ and sustainable gastronomy itself.

Ruma seamlessly combines the ambiance of a charming bistro with the simplicity of a premium boutique, presenting a diverse array of traditional products such as cheeses, buffalo milk gelato, farm-fresh produce and pasture-raised meats. The cornerstone of Ruma is their meticulously crafted cheese, perfected through years of dedicated study. This commitment to quality is evident in every variation, from velvety mozzarella to bold aged cheeses, each created with precision and care.
